課程概述

發展多樣化、跨領域整合的長期照護產業以因應急速增加的老年族群照護需求是已開發國家的普遍目標。本課程經由授課與討論來探討長期照護機構產業與社區產業管理的理論，進而邀請台灣長期照護機構產業共同來探討在現行長照服務體制下台灣的長照機構產業發展與管理並增加學生實務經驗。本課程期望透過國內不同類型的長期照護服務產業的介紹以及實務參訪，培養學生對國內長照產業發展現況與管理的能力，進而拓展學生對台灣長期照護產業發展的視野與經營管理的能力。課程分為兩大部分:
Part I:長期照護機構產業管理理論介紹
Part II: 國內長期照護機構產業與社區產業實務介紹
Many developed countries in the world share a common goal of developing diverse and integrated long-term care services to meet care demands for a rapidly increasing older population. The goal of this course is to introduce the topic of management of long-term care agencies. Students will be introduced to available management principles and knowledge in the field, as well as to management experiences of long-term care agencies in Taiwan. This course includes two parts:
Part I: Management principles for long-term care agencies
Part II: Management experiences of long-term care agencies in Taiwan

課程目標

修習此課程後，學生能:
(1) 具備長期照護機構產業(Agency/Facility)管理的基本理念
(2) 對國內不同之長期照護機構經營管理有基本之實務概念
These are the course objectives:
(1) To help students understand the management principles of long-term care agencies
(2) To increase students’ experience regarding management of long-term care agencies in Taiwan.

3.期末報告 (Final project report)
